One Bino For Everything?

I have used 10x42 for many years with zero complaints. Then this last season I got to spend a lot of time behind swaro 15x56 that I absolutely loved and got me thinking….. There are some hunts where the 15x would just be too much, I could either keep my 10x for those hunts (I don't want to pack 2 pairs daily) or more than likely I will switch to 12x50's and just run them for everything. But I mostly hunt big open country and I surely realize that doesn't work for everyone.

I would go with the 10x42’s over the 8x32’s for what you want to do with them.

I have a pair of Vortex Diamondback 10x42’s which aren’t as good as the Swarovski’s, Leica’s, and Zeiss that I’ve tried but they aren’t that far off from them either. More than half the cost as well.

I would think that anything over the 10x42’s would be too heavy and large to be packing any kind of distance.
