I was lucky enough to draw a once in a lifetime Cow Elk tag for ND Unit E2. I truly excited for this hunt. I would appreciate any info, advice, or leads on hunting Elk in this unit. Thanks in advance for leads and comments

Seems like I’ve read others having good success burning shoe leather and making contacts with farmers/ranchers in their Dakota elk hunt areas. If it were me I would knock on every ranchers door in my unit with a once in a lifetime tag. Do it now, it’s as slow a time as a farmer gets. Good luck. Shit just saw that OP was back in April.
