I was browsing through some of my old trail cam pics today and had to do a double take when I saw this one. I never saw this buck and this is the only picture I have of him but it's amazing how big his neck is. If there are any taxidermists here, i'm curious what size form this guy would have required.

As a taxidermists son that has helped measure and cape several big deer over the years, I would guess that the neck measurement on him to be around 24" which is a large deer. That measurement is taken in the small of the neck, directly behind the ears/head pretty much. The largest whitetail I have saw is one my father took that measured 26" in that spot. He looked like a small steer laying. He weighed 313 dressed.
