Old Man Work Smarter Tools Not Harder?

I like to hunt moose. And do a lot on my own out at our cabin. I kinda planned on being able to hunt n hang out there when I got oller. I have a 6 n 4 wheeler with 3000 pound winches. I use my coleman canoe for freight access to tioga muskeg. And insulated the generator shed any installed an air conditioner in it so I could use it as a walk in cooler. Also freighted out a refrigerator freezer, vacuum sealer, n such so I can process stuff. Have a few good pulleys too.
We go n get a road kill moose once in a while. I have a winch mount on trailer to get them off the road n home.
Or just sitting on the deck in the lazy boy n having a hot fresh cup of coffee or chaga tea. Do some target practice or wait for a moose or bear to walk by. Pictures of a 58"er non typical moose in the coleman heading to the meat pole. Son's first moose I called in. Pull canoe under the meat pole n hang pieces to skin n clean. Hauling freight from the lake 2 miles away that we get dropped off on. The air conditioner and a 3 wheeler that I disassembled to fit into a 185 20210313_073908.jpgA5E47929-0FF4-4061-8F8D-022341F38EAF.jpeg09E7C847-A67E-4254-84C1-CD839F855A40.jpeg

I've had a Warne winch on my lumber rack on the F150 for years. Removable hitch base. Big plugs & cables.
Much easier to drive up and go gutless with cargo straps holding both legs up....Clean bags in the bed.

I bought one of the drill winches. Back up. Looks decent have not tried yet.
New large inverter and my trucks are generators. Again.

Fuel these days is such crap, I keep the big gas generator empty and it is back up to the back up.
Started (choke) to buy Stihl premix gas .....can't get non ethanol gas . Or real premium.

In the largest oil producing country in the world. Held by the balls................................lol.

I don't do this, because if it's on a cart I just use the cart to roll it into the bed, but ....supposedly this works.
Works like a charm. Deer slide right up into bed out of the cart with winch in bed. Surprisingly easy. I've had zero problem using cart as a "ramp". At least so far. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I also have an old man posse that comes to my aid when I let them know I have a deer down. Friends and a son that I am very blessed and thankful to have in my life.

I even helped a geezer neighbor last year pickup up his deer in cut corn field using my cart and truck bed winch. It was kind of funny the two of us adding up to 148yrs of age pulling game cart up to tailgate and zipping deer up into truck. Then took to processor. We felt "alive" in funny way. Sometimes that cartoon of frog in storks mouth clamping onto the storks beak to stay alive comes to mind...
