Better start praying and doing some rain dancing.

The headwaters of the Snake River at Lewis Lake Divide in Yellowstone National Park saw just 1.7 inches of precipitation last month, Abramovich said. That is the third-driest March on record in four decades. A typical March produces about 5.7 inches of precipitation at the headwaters.

Man, I'd say it isn't looking too good.

Palisades 39% full
Jackson Lake 24% full

Hopefully it gets better but I highly doubt it.

I have that as my screen saver..Every one seems to like it, if I ever make a calander, this will be on the front I think....

No marshmellows, but I do bring summer sausage because it will last thru the warm day's and coffee in the little dip packages with a stainless steel cup to cook coffee on the hot spots...Works very well, you ought to see some of the looks I get from the rest of the crew when they are pulling out their icky sack lunches and I am cutting a roasting stick to cook pieces of sausage on...

It's really dry up here in BC too. Just had our first major forest fire last week and it was right behind my house. They got it under control pretty fast but it blows my mind that this is only the first week of April. The firestorms of last year are coming back. They say this year is going to be worse.

Having lived through a summer of hell that year I can say I don't want to do it again. A firestorm raced up the valley I live in last summer consuming many homes and business' and miles of hydrolines. I lived without power and water for well over a week camping out of my our home. Had my family members forced from their homes by the police. I saw the ecomony of this valley pretty much collapse when the lumber mill burned and tourism was halted because the highway was shut down. And to top it all off the hunting season was delayed because of the Backcountry Travel Ban. Nope, Not anything I want to go through anytime soon.
