Northern lights tonight

Big solar flares earlier this week are supposed to bring the lights as far south as Alabama tonight. Currently in the Driftless Area:

The one with the house was with all of the cloud cover facing SOUTH around 9:30. The others were at 2AM.

I enjoyed it. Lots of people left town and were concentrated in spots on county gravel roads. Felt like late season on norris road. Sheesh.

My wife and I took a trip down to Steens Mountain, OR for our 10 yr anniversary. Just so happened to have been a great weekend to get away from everything!

Very cool yall! Too cloudy where I live unfortunately. I saw they went as far south as Big Bend National Park

Very nice, I'm amazed you could see them that far south. Up here way north of you, they were will over head and you could see them even look south.
