Non-Resident Hunters numbers (Deer tags sold)?

I would be more than happy to see all the nonresident funding go away on the big game side of things. I could sit in my chair as I’m doing now watching the Grizzlies play football and say “everything looks fine we can continue doing what we are doing” I have not seen a benefit to increased funding and pressure of our animals.

So I’m new to the group and this is probably an off question. But would I need to get a hunting license to go on public land in Colorado if I’m not hunting but I’ll be with someone of it hunting. I’ll just be supplying the mules. And possibly suggestions on were to go. Trying to help my cousin get his dream hunt in he has Parkinson’s and don’t know how much longer he will be able to hunt. Thank you
