What a joke!!! Here we go again using a protected animal to prohibit or control hunting etc. I cannot wait until the fire storm starts in 2014 for the delisting of the grizzly.
Where does the lunacy stop.

Pretty rare to get to hunt at all in a National Park.

Lead free ammunition now required and only 7 rounds a day allowed during your hunt. I guess that's better than no hunt at all, but I'm surprised people would even mess with the restrictions when it's for cows only. The next thing will probably be closure of any hunting if there are any more bear incidents. I really wonder how they figure they will control a guy from only shooting once at a running animal even though you probably shouldn't be shooting at all unless it's already wounded..

I did find this quote at least a little encouraging.
