NM UNIT 2 Oct 17-21 Rifle

My wife and I drew tags for unit 2. Since this will be our first elk hunts I'm just looking for a few tips if anyone knows this unit. Do the elk hang out around the lake or do they go to the reservation? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks

On warm afternoons they do go down to the lake and swim. In the evening I'm sure they go to the Reservation for dinner at the casino. I just had to do it.

Well see thats what I originally thought. Figured maybe i could grab a drink at the casino with them.
