NM Mule Deer size

I am looking for a rough estimate of the size of NM mule deer from chest to back. I have a mil dot scope, so I need a rough measurement in order to range with my scope. I have never hunted mule deer before (I have hunted whitetail back east) so I am unfamiliar with their size. Thanks.

Depends on their rough estimate age. kidding. You will have to wait and hear from the scope experts on here - I am interested to know how this is done, and how fine tuned some dudes are!
Chest to back (front)? or back (rear or hind quarter / pelvis)?
Mature mule deer rough estimate guess = to front = 16-19 inches. to rear 35 inches....just thinking how long a nice fat backstrap seems to be when posing for heros shots

Looking for measurement brisket to back on a "perfect" broadside view (not that it ever happens) just behind the front legs.

Thanks to all. Other sources I have checked are coming up with around 18-19 inches, unless I find that monster . Now I just need to scout NM Unit 17 to find where they are hiding.
