I started putting in my 1st two for the good ones & one of my off radars got found....4 of 5 yrs I got a MB MZ tag.
I have a plan B every year now tho. Poor Me.

You know that's not a bad idea at all. I don't know if I could do the first two, but maybe I can shoot for the sky on the first slot and then have my two and three as my go to unit.

Plan Bs are never a bad thing!

Not trying to hotspot but is there such a thing as off the radar units for early archery.

I might add the big attraction for the Gila is the public land available.

That's a wonky part of NM's draw I've never quite understood. I applied for a deer tag a few years back and didn't draw. When they released the list of leftover tags, my hunt was on there. To this day I don't understand how/why I didn't get a tag for that hunt. I called G&F and their answer didn't help clarify.
