I called the companies directly and got lists of their dealers none in stock. And even the big dealers have such a waitlist on the brands I want that it will be those wait times. I'm not interested in any of the brands that are sold at the big box sporting goods stores.

So it's 100% on me for the brands I'm looking at.

Curious as to what brands? Truly boutique or just nice stuff? I mean, the place I went to is a small local and had a whole range of the Rugged, DeadAir, Silencerco and TBAC.

But otherwise get on the back order list on silencershop and wait. I put my order in 1/9/25. The guys told me that have about 900 back orders. But get shipments of 250-450 every few weeks. So they are moving through them.

I did buy an Aero Precision lahar 30l from Carrol arms. I was worried it was too good to be true. But he was quick to get it to my dealer. 519 plus the atf stamp.

Another place I’ve seen cans randomly was ModernWarriors.

For a suppressor for my .22 I waited 1 day. Quite happy. Annoyed that it is required in the first place, but given the horror stories of weeks and months, I was pretty happy to get it back next day..

Weeks and months is annoying but not bad. My first was an 18 month wait. Maybe one day no wait.
