If you’re interested in wapiti in New Zealand this is a good documentary. Wapiti are really the only managed deer herd in New Zealand.

Watched it. Great documentary. Pretty cool conservation success story with how much hunters are doing not only for the wapiti, but the native wildlife too, with the trapping and such. Have you hunted there Kiwi?

I have. I’ve hunted there 3 times including some of the places on the documentary, including a 5 day solo mission in the wilderness area.

Very nice, I’ve hiked and fished around Fiordland but never hunted.
