Not the WR ram but a couple of shots I took this summer of some big rams on the island. It is a pretty unique place.

Not that I've heard of. IIRC they have tried to leave a time or two during rare times that the lake has froze over.

Some other animals have been known to swim to the island however.

Ive seen a black bear swimming between islands on two separate occasions. Both times a considerable distance fr the shore and both times headed TOO the islands.

Can a ram with a 50 pound noggin even stay above water? I wonder.

The argali style horns that are common on a lot of the WHI rams, doesn't interfere with their side vision, so they tend not to broom their horns.

Wild horse ram next to last seasons breaks ram that is scored at over 208. Impressive!
