Whatcha guys think? Will she give Axl a run?

Yeah, late season giant honks might be out of the question...

It is my goal that I can put her in a situation to retrieve a duck just once. Early season teal or goldeye or something.

So what is it?

I have been looking into Goldendoodles and Labradoodles because of my allergies but haven't talked with anybody, in person, who has tried them for hunting. They look somewhat similar to this one.

This is a mini schnauzer, my fiances christmas gift from her parents. Not exactly the hunting dog I want to get but she is a welcome addition to the family. She plays fetch very well, and is starting to understand basic commands (sit, stay, etc.). She won't ever be a "hunting" dog, but I think it would be fun and funny to take her ducking once and let her retrieve something.

I think you ought to take her dove hunting. The weather and size of the bird would probably be more to her liking. BTW, those are great dogs. My parents have a 14 year old mini schnauzer. She never did hunt anything, except maybe squirrels in their back yard. :D

My Father has a schnauzer, the neighbor has 2. Good little yapping dogs.
But I like my Jack Russule just fine, He is sitting on my lap as I type this out.
