New Turkey painting underway

I've got it in my head to do a reversal of the 1st. TURKEY . Looking back with the bird in the field, split rail fence, tree and old farm house. Or just Turkey in the field.
Today's sit went well. I've been home sick all week and forced this issue to get in the shop to get this started.

Acrylic or watercolor? I keep telling myself I'm going to start sketching when I go out hunting and then paint scenes but never do.

I pulled this painting back out and decided to go in a different direction. Va. County side with road wall. I started in the detail today and still have a bit to go.
