New To forum, from California seeking some D14 help.

How is everybody doing? I’m Joseph, I’ve been hunting small game for quite some time. I’m now venturing out into deer/bear. I’ve got D14 tags for this 2018, I’m in good shape, and want to do a back country hunt. I’m reaching out for some direction. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

D zone are my tags. For deer you have to buy your tags in specific zones.

welcome. Im in california too. I hunt A zone, D8, D9, D11 and D13. never been in D14. The deadline for Ca is in june so you may look at what else you might want to apply for since you can get 2 tags. If you archery hunt the A31 Los Angeles either sex tag has a long season and being able to take a doe is nice. I had that tag last year but only got out a few times due to out of state trips.
