@The Hedgehog - I'm using a Zeiss 4-16x50 currently. I think that S&B and TT both make fine scopes, but I just don't care for the reticle design. That's all (personal preference).

@Wind Gypsy - I have never used a scope with 40x magnification for hunting yet - I just don't that for what I want to do, for my level of comfortability, 16x isn't cutting it for where I want to be.

My farm is classified by the NRCS as a "Preserve" since I have so much dedicated acreage for restoring habitat, in particular, pheasants, turkeys, woodcocks, and ruffed grouse. I have an insane amount of deer here as well - huge ones too. I have no need to go anywhere else.
Would you happen to have enough room for a nudist group to camp out for one week every year?

@The Hedgehog - It's impolite to ask people to justify their preferences; however, I don't like any form of Christmas Tree reticle or ones with thick lines.

@MIDeerAssassin - Apologies, in my area of Michigan (the Lower Peninsula), baiting is explicitly illegal unless you qualify for meeting the exception criteria. So for all intents and purposes, it's illegal for 99.999% of the active hunters.

99.999% of lower peninsula hunters.

22% of the overall resident UP population buys hunting licenses in a given year. Not counting LP hunters coming over the bridge or WI hunters as non-resident.

Be as exacting in your language as you want to be in scopes.

The moderators here removed my ability to add in Memes. Otherwise this would be a lot more fun.

The 700 Ultimate can indeed be centerfire accurate with the right projectiles and weighed powder charges. But a 60x scope seems like a stretch "for more clarity." Have you tried sunshading what you are currently using?

I think a “Vortex Razor HD 20-60x85 Spotting Scope - Angled” is what you’re after. Just have the custom shop add the reticle of your choice.
