Working the body.

Got a bit tired of working on the body today and played around with the grass. Took a major dump on the right front leg. I do make mistakes, being able to recover is make a good painting.

Had a good 6-7 hrs painting today. Nice details emerged. Still have a couple more sits to go on the body.

Moving through this at a little quicker pace now. Started the grass and some fine detail. I hope you all are enjoying the progress. I look forward to constructive criticism from the guys who chase these majestic creatures.

Figured this is a wrap. Maybe acouple of small changes. But I need to set it aside for a while. There is the Buffalo head I eager to portray.

My son friend in NC shot a Moose and a Ram this year. Offered me 10 pounds of Moose burger and a large Ram sausage roll for a print. I called artist buddy with a printer. I had one run off as a AP (Artist Proff) 1 of 1 print. I haven't had Moose in a while and never had Ram sausage so can't wait try them. I've added a little to it Sunday and I see from the print I have more to do.

Done some nice detail here. A friend said , where are you doing more detail ? I can do detail till the cows come home. I didn't think I'd get to this point, but I'm almost there.

Finally, this is a wrap. The lower left corner was bugging me,just wasn't the right lead in.
Thank you all everyone who followed me in this. Defiantly my most complicated painting to date.
This will be how it will show but with a mat.
