I never offered the tag to you, I offered it to BluBronc. It's amazing how us ranchers who have to deal with these elk herds day in and day out are expected to just give away our tags. If you don't like the system, then go ahead and buy your own ranch. I'd put that $50 towards buying yourself some humility.

I’ll up my offer to $90, that seems to be what New Mexico has decided a resident should pay for an elk tag

I’m sorry you have that burden of owning a ranch that has native wildlife present on it. Sounds awful

I probably should have a couple ranch’s or farms but unfortunately my ancestors got swindled out of a few of them by relatives, neighbors and shady realtors
