Welcome from NE WY. Recently stepped down as chapter Pres for the NWFT chapter here. Only did one year. Wasn't for me. Love turkey hunting the Black Hills.

Would love to hear how you butcher, cook, etc. your birds.

I agree on the all-caps thing.

Hello sir , i love turkey hunting also ,have been chasing those sultans of the woods sese 1978, never gets old. i skin my toms anymore ,used to pull feathers when i first started ,lot easyier to skin, ,if i do the whole turkey in the oven after he is cleaned and ready, i usually put oinion ,or apples , in the cavity tie the legs use a good rub ,slow and low in the oven 250 degrees ,in at 8 at night out at 8 am fall off the bone good, if i do just breasts ,clean put in a crock pot ,babby potato's ,little chicken broth , seal the top. low and slow 4 to 5 hours, check it out go another 1hour just to finish it off, legs and wings, in a pot of hot water boil to done , peel the meat , season with fovorite rub let sit for a bit, into the pot with veggies , and small oinions ,peas and carrot's,sesaon to taste , home made chips or flour tortillas, good soup . Come on Spring.have a great week.
