Hello All,
New member here. A little about me:
Born and raised in TN, stationed in CA now, father, husband, brother, avid bird, waterfowl, and big game hunter. I'm a 10 year USMC Active Duty MV-22 pilot - getting out this year on a medical retirement/separation (they haven't decided yet) due to a back injury related to flight ops. I discovered OYOA and Fresh Tracks while recovering from back surgery and have been inspired ever since
I have to say that Randy is an inspiration to me. Not only because I've always been a DIY hunter, but because he's inspired me to not let my back trouble (and related disability) hold me back from doing these types of hunts. I doubt I'll be able to do it myself, but at least the fire is there.
I'm planning a DIY antelope hunt in WY this year and maybe more if I'm out of the Corps by then, so that will start my DIY western hunts.
Anyways, I look forward to all this site has to offer.
