Welcome to PA, the deer and turkey hunting can be pretty good. The roads on the other hand are never good.

I just signed up here as well. I live in northern va, but have hunted for 26 years in jefferson county pa. One way to rifle hunt those state lands is understand where hunters come in from, and then find places where they will push deer to. Acorns are key in the fall, until the rut then you hunt the does. Find a hot doe and there will be bucks there. If you have access to private lands thats a bit different as the deer are not pressured as much.
