New member here from the unfortunate state of California. Been curious about the site after watching Fresh Tracks on YouTube. Went hunting with a few buddies who all happened to be on here as well so I joined. I grew up upland and waterfowl hunting on a small ranch in Southern California where we chased deer with cameras not rifles. Got introduced to deer hunting in 2004 by my in-laws in Northern California. Didn’t like it much at first but have become obsessed the last few years. Now I love it far more than chasing birds. I’ve harvested mostly Columbia blacktail deer and just got my first mulie and mouflon this year. Can’t wait to go for other big game when I get a chance…but point creep is out of control! I have two young daughters who both love hunting. My older daughter harvested her first buck this past season and is hooked.
