Both introduced by republicans who profess to be sportsman but don't have a clue. The kind that routinely believe wild false conspiracies and facts aren't familiar to them.

Nathan Wesenberg--from an area of the state near new CWD findings recently--wants to weaken deer farm regs. His claims mirror the completely false claims of captive deer farmers everywhere--that there are methods to insure CWD does not infect their herd that do not involve killing and testing animals, fencing that insures wild deer can't touch nose to nose deer inside captive fences, and more.

Josh Heintzman has introduced a bill to weaken the states fairly rigorous wetland protection laws.

They can't be dissuaded by facts or calls of concern but wouldn't hurt to try.

They've introduced them, but aren't likely to go anywhere from what I've heard.

Wesenberg is a snake, and is in deer farmer Steve Porter's pocket. Porter, who thinks he's above the law and has the cure for CWD on his farm. Had his son start an group solely to slander good sportsmen's organizations that have been doing excellent work for decades.
