Morning -
My son 10, (and two buddies 12 and 14 ) earned his / their
Orange cards and right of passage! I told them I will buy their
1st small game lisc. They giggled like schools girls.
Also Mentioned to them on our way home, how they will remember this day
Forever and thanks for letting me be part!! Took me back to when I sat
In my hunters safety class 30 years ago.
Saturday was a Special day. Different triple crown!
That is all.

Congrats on your son & his friends passing their hunter safety test!

I am a Hunter Ed. Instructor and it gives me great joy to pass on our great heritage. I tell all my students that this is just the first step, they will continue to learn and grow throughout their entire lives. Congrats

I still remember getting mine over 30 years ago. The law had just been changed to require it and some guys quickly stepped up to the plate and set up a class at the local Armory. I think it would be nice if all kids took it if they hunt or not. I failed that as only 2 of my 3 children took the course. Couldn't get it lined up with my non hunters busy schedule. Congratulations on getting the three through the course.

Awesome! Give those boys a fist bump from me.

My oldest has two more years of me buying apprentice licenses here in IN then we'll be off to a hunter's ed class.

Congrats! Speaking of young hunters... Has anyone heard any more on Montana lowering the age 10 ten? I haven't seen anything on it for awhile.
