Usually, a "Hi I'm a new guy" thread is something like.. Hi, my name is Melvin and I'm from New Jersey, what kind of gun should I get for a hunting trip out west.

I see why there's so many responses on this one.. awesome animals!

And I am in awe of what you have knocked down as well. WOW FACTOR!!!!!!

I think I will like this forum. It is a little slow in some areas but better mannered from our home based one in Alberta here. I hope to make a few friends and it would be fun to hook up with a few guys and do a few hunts sometime down the road.

Geezuz!! Those are great sheep, but man, i will probably never see that many whitetails that big in my whole life......

Thanks dude, just made me not even want to scout next week as i know the biggest potential deer i could see is about 20 points less than the smallest one i just saw;):D

Man, I'd like to go up there and kill one of those big whitetails some day. Thanks for the photos.

Thanks for the pictures.Love the sheep. The whitetails are awesome.

Here are a few more whitetails for you guys. Not sure if i posted them all or not already but if so a double posting of pics is always good!

And all done with a Remington 870 Wingmaster, of all things. Now those are cool pics.

I like the picture of the stuffed bear that attacked the stuffed sheep in his trophy room. I bet that made a helluva mess to clean up.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, some amazing animals and a big credit to you for remembering to take good pictures while hunting.

Dude!!! I used to want to be Greenhorn or Breaks Runner in my next life life, now I want to be you!!!! Impressive pics man!

I think what some of the guys here are trying to ask is...."Are you single??"

Seriously...I'm your age and when I'm 68 I could only dream of having on my wall what you already have!! You are living the life!!

Thanks guys. I have a great wife and 4 kids believe it or not. I have been lucky to be able to live where I do and to have the animals around we can hunt. I guess if you can put up with the cold up here and the short summers you deserve something good right?

I love to hunt. I have been lucky to have a part time outfitting business as well for waterfowl that helps me earn a few extra bucks to be able to afford a few trips now and again. I only outfitt for a month and a half out of the year but that is about all I have the energy or time off from my real job to do.

here is a link to some of my bird pictures for those that like bird pics.

Those are from last year. There are a bunch of other years to look at as well. I'd post them up here but it would take forever to do that.
I have been lucky to have a few big named guys to hunt with as well that I feel priveledged to do so with. Rod Haydel has been up with us about a dozen times filming and Charles Snapp as well as Bill Saiff to name a few. It is nice to hunt with the pros and I fell like they have helped me be a better hunter. Season starts in a month for us so I will be busy. With the tough times the U.S is having my season is only partially booked. I have a months worth and have a few spots empty. It is kind of nice because I might have some time to do my own hunting this year which is a change for once. Yippeeeee!!!!!
