New GPS

Hey guys looking at a new Garmin 62 or the new 64. My question is would you get the one with topo maps installed and add the hunt maps chip? Or just get the plain model and add the hunt maps ? Any And all suggestions are welcome. Thank you Randy

When I got my 62s, I got it since the basic 62 didn't have the better altimeter arrangement that the S and STC models had. The 64 may be different, but check it out. As far as the maps go, I don't see a need for the 24k topo when the Hunting GPS Maps are installed. The one thing that you may want to look into is the Birdseye subscription from Garmin. You can overlay satellite imagery over your Hunting GPS maps to get a really good look at your surroundings.

Cabela's has the 62s on sale for $199 right now. I picked one up, has the better compas and altimiter along with the sd card slot.
