Hey all,

New poster to the forum, although I have done some reading in the past. I grew up in Washington and am now living in Utah. I have been elk and deer hunting for about 20 years and the majority of my experience is in the dark timber of SW WA. In recent years, I have finally been exposed to some of the amazing opportunities we have across the west, and have begun branching out quite a bit. Looking forward to sharing and learning!

Where did you move from? It’s definitely unlike any other elk hunting I have experienced in the west as far as terrain, vegetation and weather

Pennsylvania ha! But we typically hunt MT for elk.
