New BF Good rich KO3

The KO2s are a good compromise between on road and off but they are not the best in snow or mud. Sounds like the KO3s may be better.

They look cool, but there are also so many good options out there nowadays. Falken Wildpeak, Toyo ATIII, Cooper Discoverer, etc. I'm using the Toyo ATIII right now and really like them. Not the best at any one thing, but quite good for everything and I deal with pretty much everything fairly regularly.

I don't understand at all the KO following. In fact any of the BFG following at all. there are equally as good if not better tires on the market for less money. The BFG AT is junk worthless off road. The KOs are supposed to be a mud tire but they don't perform any better in mud than then some All terrains. The COOPER SST PRO seems to be significantly better performing than the KOs... Mastercraft MT, and more...

I thought the Ko2's were horrible on ice. Had them on a 1/2 ton truck, they were ok in deep snow and wore very good. Had over 50,000 miles on them when I traded trucks

Considering Michelin Defender LTX Platinum down the road...somewhat a hybrid faux off road with better highway features. Well suited to my needs.

I have waited for them to come up with a little more aggressive tread than standard LTX.
A lot smoother than the Coopers, but I'm 18 miles from being useful.

Michelin makes a great tire. I'm sure those will perform and last.

I wanted to put KO3s on my truck but being honest w myself couldn't justify it for my uses.

Went with the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo 3 in attempt to get better highway manners / performance and retain some AT & snow capability.

I drive 10 miles of gravel roads everyday (it's my choice I like living away from people). I have tried a lot of different tires over the years my last set of KO2s I got 15000 more miles out of them than any other tire I have tried. I just put on a set of KO3s 4 days ago, they are very quiet on the highway we will see how they hold up.

I've had good luck with these Cooper A/T tires so far. This is at about 30k miles but they have been discontinued.
I'll probably need new shoes for the truck next year and I really like those new BFG A/T's, they are pricey though.

Have a one ton chevy diesel and 50k+ miles on a set of bfg ko2, my second set on the truck. Tow regularly and drive mtn roads daily. In snow I use chains if needed, they work well on ice, and I dont encounter much mud. Plenty durable for forest roads. Really hoping the ko3's are better and not worse. It's surprising to get to the mileage warranty (55k) on a full size truck that tows on windy roads. I just keep the air pressure as recommended and rotate every oil change.
