Nevada late muzzleloader hunt

NV seems like a place a guy could fall in love with if remoteness is your thing.

Great buck, thanks for sharing.

Nice buck. Your post makes me rethink not applying in NV the last few years.

Congrats on a great buck. Not seeing other hunters is a wonderful bonus after having to wait years to draw a tag.

Congrats. Hunted in the hills just east of Jackpot as a kid (when you could get a NR tag somewhat easy). Great, vast areas and some stunning deer. Well done.

Very nice write-up and buck. When you get so far away from people that you start to wonder when might have been the last time someone actually had stepped where you just placed your foot then you are remote. You find an arrowhead and might wonder was it dropped or that is were the arrow landed? Was it 200 years ago or 10,000 years ago? Maybe that ancient hunter was shooting at a buck that that bedded where your buck now bedded this summer. The sky probably looked much the same. The vegetation was likely the same. We are here but a blink of an eye and the mountain always wins no matter how young and strong we are when we first start up that first ridge.
