Need a good blaze orange hat

I have all this nice technical clothing but my blaze orange hats are uncomfortable crap. I dont really like hats in the first place. Anyone have a suggestion for a good hat? Ya know, breathable, water resistant, lightweight, fast drying, comfortable, etc. Thanks!!

It doesn’t meet all your list but I like the first lite brimmed beanie. The short brim helps with the sun but doesn’t get in the way of a scope plus you get all the normal qualities of merino

I've been working with the hat guy I use for my company to try and get some blaze orange versions of the hats he's selling me with a sweet elk logo. Meets everything on your list except fully water resistant. But otherwise a wicked comfy hat. If I can make it happen, I'll reach out if you haven't found one by then

I have the Sitka Ballistic Ball Cap, Vortex Blaze Orange Digi Cap, and a Browning blaze ball cap. All of those meet your requirements. For me, the Vortex one, a couple years old fits best.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like to do the beanie over the hat thing. Problem is most hats are too rigid to be very comfortable.

Old school elan hat has been my go to. Found the new ones for super cheap, they do really well also. Wish I could have found new ones that the bill flips as easily. I’ll figure something out though.

I’ve got quite a collection of once orange hats now lol

Personally I like a Richardson 112 for a ball cap… Fresh tracks, Stone Glacier, Meateater, BHA all have that style it’s kinda the standard trucker hat.

For winter hard to beat carhartt
