Nebraska Whitetail Doe

Spent the first week of December chasing whitetail and mule deer with 2 tags in my pocket. It was a tough hunt and was able to fill my freezer with this big doe. Only saw a 3x4 mule deer and rather shoot a doe than a small buck. I still have till December 31st to fill my other tag but plan on doing that with my kids at my side close to home.

Using a Custom Savage 45 caliber Muzzleloader shot this doe at 230 yards.

Great! I still have six to fill. I will probably kill one, or two this next week and then the others in January. Gotta love those does-especially the old, smart ones!
