In her defense, we were NOT hunting big black birds, and she had just come out of photo right the same time the birds made their escape behind her. And a stiff headwind was at her pointer's nose.

She was whining to come inside(I thought) for about 20 min. When I’d had enough noise I went to the door and found her in a position similar to the picture but gazing up at me with pride. She had been wanting to show me her squirrel for about 20 min! I think some dogs would have just started tearing into it by then! She’s a peach.

And another from last fall when he was about 7 months old with a 2 man limit.
