Time to reach out to your elected officials, guys and gals. The attempt to further erode our rights as free citizens continues.

Here we go boys and girls...its going to be a real scrap.

Dems are going to burn a lot of political capital on this one. Clinton said in hindsight he wishes he wouldn't have pushed for the AWB. It cost the Dems too much in future elections.

Harry Reid has said that he won't bring gun bills forward that won't pass the House. It's time to show him that this won't pass the Senate.

Bad bill.

Here is a quick and painless way to let the President, Vice President, your senators and reps as well as local reps know how you feel. It takes about 1 minute to do thanks to Ruger.

Take Action Now!

Not much press on this yet. Wouldnt surprise me if they refuse to release this publically and try to do everything before anyone knows about it (just like New York did.)

Feinswine had a big press conference today introducing this bill. It's out there and all over the gun forums.

Yeah, I notice she led of by a prayer.

Suddenly, the Dems are all about prayer and religion...pandering dipwhits....

I agree Belly, anything they can do to make themselves look good and get the ones on the fence to their side. . .sickening!!

It isn't going anywhere because they don't have enough votes even on the Dems side. Unless a bunch of Dem Senators from Red states change their minds this is bill is DOA.

Nemont, I'm hoping that you are correct, but after the "fiscal cliff" debacle, and the filibuster vote, I'm not quite as confident as you seem to be.

Based on what I am reading, you MT guys are the key with Tester and Baucus. Keep their inboxes full.

From what I have read today it looks like they are setting sights on banning anything above 10 rounds.

Not a single NRA member has explained to me how this bill gets to the floor of the Senate. If I am wrong about that then explain how it gets through the House. Harry Reid stated that he will let this bill go through regular order which means amendments can be offered. If it does pass then it has to go to the House where it is DOA because in the House the Speaker rules like a tyrant. NOTHING gets done without the speakers okay

I will bet you any amount of money you wish right now and throw in a week of goose and duck hunting on my dime that this doesn't become law.

They may not need to get it through now...they can trot it out there, see how close they are to getting it through...and then figure out how to grab more blue seats in the House next year, when things have calmed down and everyone has lost interest. The President's campaign team has formed a 501c(3) non-profit to keep pushing their legislative agenda; this is just the start. They'll bank on you losing interest, before they do...
