Hi everyone, first post on the forum though I've been watching for awhile
I have for sale a great set of Mystery Ranch NICE Frame backpacks, both in very good to excellent condition, completely clean and waterproofed. They come with one NICE Frame that fits both bags, which is medium size (for both the yoke and the waist belt). I am 6'2'' and this fit me perfectly, although it would be ideal for someone shorter as well. Also included are extra straps and buckles (pictured).
Here is a link to the specifications of both bags:
6500: http://www.mysteryranch.com/hunting/nice-frame-packs/nice-6500-pack
Long Bow: http://www.mysteryranch.com/hunting/nice-frame-packs/nice-longbow-pack
I used both of these backpacks in 2012 for a Colorado elk hunt. They performed very well and allowed me to pack in enough gear for a comfortable base camp (with the 6500) and to have a rugged smaller pack for hunting and spike camping (Longbow). Using this combination I was successful on my first solo backcountry hunt(http://www.biggamehunt.net/forum/colorado-solo-backpack-hunt-1st-rifle). As much as I would love to keep these packs, I am moving to the Midwest and will not be returning to the Rocky Mountains for a long time, and so I have decided to part with them.
The packs are in very good to excellent condition. The longbow is only 8 months old (purchased new) and in nearly perfect condition. The 6500 pack and the NICE frame show mild wear (pictured) but are in perfect functional condition. These last two items were previously owned by an officer who used them in Afghanistan. As I mentioned the packs are completely cleaned, waterproofed, and ready for your next adventure. Asking $575 shipped.
