my Son's first buck

My 13yr old got his first deer buck. Garrett isn't into hunting as much as I am but he was happy to go to AZ on a youth hunt. We got screwed out of a nice 3x4 the first morning. As we were setting up for the shot some other hunters started long lobbing at it from another ridge. The third morning was crazy windy so we got on the down wind side of the hills and jumped a couple little deer and after 3 days he was ready to take anything. He made a perfect 180 yard steep downhill shot through the heart. Blood trail was incredible. He was happy with it so I was too!

Well, I know that was a fun time for both of you. Maybe he will catch on fire now. In the end you both got to spend some time in the outdoors. Congrats! John
