My New Toy

I'm pretty excited about this guy. Tikka T3 Superlite in 7mm-08. Topped it off with a set of Talley Low's and a 4x12x40 VX-2. Took it out today and after about 10 rounds I was printing 1.5" clusters at 200. Seems like a great set up. I have always been impressed with the Tikka's. I might try and get out next weekend and fill a cow tag with it.

I'll bet that is a sweet shooter! Every time i take the fiances 7-08 out and shoot it I get a little jealous of how awesome it is to shoot. Fun round.

Very nice! I have a Tikka in 300 win mag and absolutely love it. Tack driver with the right load worked up. Go get that cow!

My T3 superlite is in 30-06. I topped it off with the talleys also and a Vx3i 4-14 and after adding a limbsaver pad it does everything I could ever want from a rifle. Mine shot around 1in at 100 before I free floated the barrel, now it will group pretty much any 165gr I choose to feed it into .5 or even .25 at 100. Love the 7-08 also, if I didn't already have a light weight 7-08 I would be in the market for one of these myself. Congrats on a great rifle.

Love my Tikka T3 Hunter. It's a 7Mag. Great shooter with factory rounds. Wish I had one in 7-08. Nice looking rig.

Looks great! I've got a T3 in 6.5x55 arriving at my FFL today and would very much like to add a VX-2 to the top. Got my fingers crossed but it's great to hear another positive T3 report.

I've got two T3s, both shoot lights out. Ones a hunter in 260 Rem, the other a SS Lite in 7mag. Great guns. I almost got the Superlite for my 7mag but I didn't wanna spend the extra cash on a few ounces difference. Sexy gun though, good luck on your cow!

I love my 7-08 Superlite. Great shooting right out of the box. The only thing I can say is get the limbsaver pad!
