We went down to sunny San Diego to see the United States' newest Marines. One of which is my son Nathaniel.

Amazingly cool experience.

He's a bit on the skinny side, but these guys are solid as hammers.

Lunch at MCRD. He has good posture, me not so much.

USMC museum. I could spend days there. My Dad showing us where he was shot down and MIA in Viet Nam.

PFC N. Taylor. He had many other options, he chose to serve in the USMC.

Eagle, Globe, and Anchor.

We are proud.

Congratulations, T Bone. Good looking family there. Right to be proud.

Congratulations Mama and Papa. The fact that your son chose to serve selflessly says a bunch about you two. I wish for him is that he gets all he can out of being a Marine :)

Great looking Marine and Family. Thanks so much for your families service. Enjoy your time with your son.

Congratulations!!! I'm not sure what it is that makes these young men want to serve, but thank God they do. For me, it was quite humbling to stand next to my son knowing that at such a young age, he had done something more honorable and unselfish than anything I had done in my life.

If you think he's in shape now, wait until after SOI.
