Out of my 3 kids, I always thought my daughter Grace would be the least likely to really enjoy hunting. Gracie is a very sweet, gentle, kind, and deep thinking girl, and even though I exposed her to hunting at a young age, I always figured it wasn't going to be part of her personality. Turns out my initial thoughts were very wrong, and Grace now thoroughly enjoys the outdoors with me. This past season she didn't the chance to get out much, but the last week of season, with sports drawing to a close, we carved out some time to go out together and find her a buck. It was a super nasty day, but as feminine as Grace is, she's a pretty tough little gal. She braved the cold, wind, and snow, and was rewarded with a great opportunity! One of the coolest hunts we've had together. I finally just got the footage put together, and I hope you enjoy it because we sure did!

Hunting in conditions like that, she's tough!
Yeah man.... She is such a mild kid, so she always surprises me when she toughs it out like this. Her older sister, who is pretty strong herself, was telling me recently that "Grace is really strong Dad!". I didn't believe her, so I had her and arm wrestle Grace along with my youngest (a boy). After she whipped them both I had to see it for myself, and I was pretty surprised how much fight she put up! LOL... It's often the ones you'd never expect!
