So my 82 year old father has decided he wants to burn his 5 deer points in Wyoming. Perhaps you remember him from my previous posts...https://www.hunttalk.com/threads/family-elk-big-game-tradition.316023/

Despite the winter kill and decreased harvest last fall, I think seeing all the deer on winter range kinda got his blood pumping and I think he's planning his last Wyoming Deer hunt. He is probably wanting to go guided, and I think he'd like to get a personal best (160+). My only experience is in Region H and Region B and H is too low odds to draw and B did not impress me. I'm looking for some guidance on what other opportunities may exist. Open to folks referrals and experiences, though dm if you would like.

I like Q, even though you are limited to 96, 97, and 98. Lots of public, far from any town, easy to draw despite few NR tags, and you have to shoot a 'big' one (4 pt rule). Has mountians and sage so you can pick the type of hunt you like best.

If he was a half decent father, get him a guided hunt in another state in addition to ram rodding this Wyoming hunt. Blackmail siblings if necessary.
