Seeing The Tubes live was a SF Bay Area right of passage back in the day. @hank4elk , did you ever see them?

There were no Tubes without the amazing bass work of Rick Anderson.

"White Punks on Dope" become the un-official theme song of the Standford University Marching Band for a long time. Fantastic self parody about college kids who suffer from affluenza.

Then there was "What do you want from life?" Amazing bottom end gluing together this one. The references in this song will make the young'uns scratch their heads. I still laugh at every one.

Saw them at Cow Pie-ly.....the year Cal Poly became the #1 party school in the nation.
