If you like Trump, then vote for Sheehy. He praises and follows the leaderhip of a felon found guilty on 34 counts.

What a nation and state we have become with such really stupid political glittering generalities!
The trial was a sham.

I don’t know sheehy well enuf to have an opinion on him. Unfortunately I know tester well enough and can see his vote record

I see you buy the big lies. It takes every single juror to agree, in order to get a guilty verdict. It only takes one holdout to get a hung jury.

Trump is hitting 34 for 34. Back in my salad days, I would have loved to have had a hitting streak like that.

One of the wonders of the world is how completely Trump has conned his base and ruined one of the major political parties. Before all of his present lapdogs came to lick his boots, they saw him for what he was. The tapes are out there, if anyone is half curious. Now they fawn all over him.

You don't get impeached twice just by chance. The GOP has been trying their best to return the favor to Biden. But, given the dysfunction and chaos in the GOP, they will never get it done.

We can all thank Rosendale for his part in creating chaos. He was too wacko, even for Trump.

So do tell, what was the 2nd crime trump committed? The prosecution never stated it. The trial was a sham, politically motivated against an opponent .

I’m not a huge trump fan, but I can assure you, I am considerably less well off than I was 3 yrs ago.

I can’t believe it. Ive been drawn in to a conversation about something like this.

It’s impossible to change your mind when you’re right, or an idialog

Shameful Politics
As a lifelong Montanan with no one party affiliation, I have been proud of the strong leadership, integrity, and prominence of women and men from both sides of the aisle who have so honorably represented Montana in Congress. That great legacy is diminishing.
Montana Republican Congressional delegates have displayed a lack of integrity by alleging inconceivable high level conspiracy theories, by disrespectfully disparaging the Constitutionally structured judicial system of a sister state, and by calling the exhaustive fact-finding judicial process of former President Trump’s Hush Money trial a “sham”.
Sadly, history shines a bright enduring light on actions reflecting a lack of integrity and on the foolish statements of prominent citizens, often ignoring or diminishing their good works and wise words.
Today history indelibly notes forever the foolish and embarrassing actions and rhetoric of my Congressional delegates, and the shame cast upon them and upon my beloved state of Montana.

Crazy that GOP's Trump, with all his guilty flaws, may beat the BEST the Democrat leadership offers the American people - That is the buffoonery of our two party political sytem.

I'm sorry you you have not done well the last three years. I've done quite well. I've been retired for 11 years now, and the stock market has been quite kind to me. I realize talking to my farrier, that the cattle market, has been very tough, recently. It's tough to get the sun to shine on everyone, all the time.

I spent the day at a horse auction, not buying today, just an interested watcher. With the prices the horses were going for, there are a few people spending pretty big money for a saddle horse.

I vote against anyone who has been in Washington longer than two terms. Service turned into a career never benefits the constituency.
Rhetorical question: Do you wish Senator Mike Mansfield had served only two terms? Montana has benefited most by experience in Congress that places delegates on committees which benefit this sparsely populated, otherwise not highly considered state. Although ideology expressed about term limits would seem to be valid, yet the phrase "never benefits the constituency" has proven false for Montana.

The case can be made for term limits as well as for no term limits. I can see the logic to both sides.

I have not made up my mind as to which is best.

I am opposed to limiting Representative term limits. Let the people vote the term a Rep stays in office.

Hamilton stated;
"That magistrate is to be elected for four years; and is to be re-eligible as often as the people of the United States shall think him worthy of their confidence."

Leave it to the people to decide. I've not read enough of the Hoover Commission to know why Republican controlled Congress opted for 10 years max President terms.

I view it the same as the caustic nature of companies who seek a new CEO with bonus to turn a favorable value. The CEO stabs longevity for sake of personal gain then off to other "green pastures".

Same with management staff, private and public sector. Certain minded people void of employee value will present short gained metrics that show improvement for sake of the next step up. Welcome to Corporate design.
