Any appointed members here? If so or if anyone is in the "know", what are the key topics and how productive are these meetings?
At the meeting, the council will focus on several issues, including its charge, research related to access in Montana, the status of Montana Fish, Wildlife, & Parks' hunting access programs, and setting priorities for future work.

Gov. Steve Bullock recently appointed 18 members to the council. Each member is interested in issues related to hunters, anglers, landowners, and outfitters, including but not limited to Montana's hunting and fishing access enhancement programs, landowner-hunter relations, outfitting industry issues, and other matters related to private lands and public wildlife.

Yes, I chair the PLPW with Rich Stuker (F&G Commissioner). We have had one meeting and seem to have a dedicated group. We will be meeting monthly and will travel across the state with these meetings. There will be an opportunity for public comment on the agenda of each meeting.

We will be dealing with Access issues. New programs and ideas, old programs that may need tweaking. We would welcome your ideas and input.

PLPW: There will be letters of invitation going out this week to many organizations having a stake. They will be asked for input. There will also be a series of speakers invited to speak on these issues.
