Seriously, Those antlers have stag written all over them in big neon letters. I bet his nuts were missing or very small.

He and his dad watched this buck when he was 8, it was 33" wide and a perfect 4. A RECORD breaker! Sadly he said they should have shot him then, as he went down hill and got sick.

33 inch four point at age 8, Call me a skeptic. That would be an antler growth patter unlike any I have seen.

I wonder were he comes up with the you get a tag every ten years. I don't think anyone suggesting limited entry is calling for state wide limited entry so restrictive that you can only pull a tag once every ten years.

My favorite in VA is "old mountain buck" like 2.5 years old.

Here it is an old mature swamp buck. 2.5 years old 115 inches, and then they complain in the next post that Louisiana just doesn’t have what it takes to grow big bucks…
