Mountain Goats in Columbia River Gorge???

So I drive to Boise once or twice a month from Portland Oregon and love going throught the Gorge. I always see alot of deer and bighorn sheep. Last week I saw a mountain goat not 50 yards off the freeway. I stopped and watched him for 10 minutes. Looked like a nice billy. Wouldn't you know the one time I don't have my binoculars or camera |oo . Has anyone ever seen any goats in the Gorge? I had heard they were talking of reintroducing them but I didn't know if they had transplanted some recently.

there are a couple roving goats, two singles and a pair i think.

Yup, hes been hanging out right above The Dalles dam on the cliff sides. ODF is calling him Forest, as he walked all the way here from Wyoming!! I haven't seen him is a few days, he may have moved on?? I have some pics of him standing about 20 yards off i-84!!
