They were also underground here, but everyone in NZ is a huge Peter Jackson fan. And as funny as it seems may be not just because of his movies but more to do with his talent, success and keeping his "kiwiness". He also lives in Wellington and does a lot of good in this town.

That’s awesome to hear. Loved his early movies and Lord of the Rings alike. Good to hear he stayed grounded.

This is another underappreciated movie, probably my favorite movie If I think about it.

Love the scene with John Goodman on the hill with the boom box observing target practice. Told my kids that’s what we all aspired to own in the 80s. Just got a blank stare. Some people just don’t know the struggle.

I just watched Waterworld again the other night, so good. Dennis Hoppper is hilarious in it!
