Morning Hunt

Well Moosie and IB didn't get out this morning, because the flight service was backed up from not getting any flights out yesterday. So I met them at the hotel and we went out the road on a sightseeing/duck hunting trip. We only had about 2 hours so there wasn't too much carnage. We managed 2 young harlequin and a saw bill. We did mess up a jump shot at a group of 4 drake harlequin, but no big deal they should have plenty of shooting on the southend.
We came back and IB's bow came in on the 10:30 so he was happy. Their flight out got pushed back to 3pm though so we came into town for a couple more boxes of steel shot and a quick burger at McD's.

CH, I don't believe they are supposed to be back until Saturday or Sunday but I'm not 100% sure. If we see pics of the hunt, they made it back safely. If not, there is some big bear chit with Moosie chunks in it left on Kodiak Island somewhere!

Wile, I am surprised that no one has heard from either of them. I would suspect that one of them have some kind of phone service? Guess we will have to wait and see.

I have a Sat phone on my "tax Return" to buy list..... by next fall, we'll have day - day coverage next time, you can bet yer Arsch !!!

TBinKodiak, Thanx again for the hospitality. We did get into some more ducks. Not many, but a Few, and enough to rake up the "mounts" bill I'm having this year.

I wonder if the Gal that got her Cell phone back ever looked at the Video we made on it....... I swear if I knew I didn't know how to erase it I wouldn't have hit "save file".. HAHA !!! Ohh well, ya only live once hump
