My nephew and I finally scored on a couple of 13 inchers in the Pumpkin Buttes area after enduring 20 to 25 mph winds for most of the day. Nothing to brag about so far as size or mass, but never could get close enough to a couple of 14.5 inchers to get off a shot. They had been shot at for three days and that with the winds and methane checker trucks we couldn't do better. I was waiting out a nice one near 15 in. when a gas truck showed up and sent him in the opposite direction. Got a couple does too and decided that we'd end it there and use the other two tags for potty paper.
