No I looked for them but no luck. I checked the harvest report and I don't think he was killed either. Big country. Not enough summer. The only thing shorter than fall is summer.

(haha!) The moose pics are amazing as well. The double moose in the water would be a great one to have transposed to a watercolor appearence and framed as prints.

Even the free Irvanview program is fun. Never messed with it before.
I loved the bird set-up. The midday light and colors where disappointing, somewhat fixed with the program. Cheating turns out to be fun. Stupid birds are hard to get, figgity little suckers.

I'm no expert and don't take my word for it, but I think those "pancake" 'shrooms are King Boletes -- a very good edible. I wouldn't eat that first red one though unless you're feeling very adventurous... Amanita Muscaria.
